If you were in the vicinity of West London last week, you would have heard or seen us! A brass band dressed in (you guessed it) green, provided entertainment for delegates at this year's HR Software Show where we launched our Broadcast product to the HR community.
The Broadcast concept was very well received at the CIPD Show by both those who already understood Broadbean's AdCourier technology through to those who had never even heard of us!
Richard Essex, Head of Corporate Sales at the Bean, believes that the green faced Bean Team members managed to make some HR professionals stop and think about their recruitment processes, he says, "The concept of a plug in technology to any recruitment management system was simple to understand and allowed potential clients to fully appreciate the advantages of embedded Advert Distribution and Source tracking technology."
Broadcast even got the seal of approval from one very well informed reporter from Payroll and HR magazine who said, "This is truly a win win situation as it seems all parties gain from the integration." Of course we agree!
Essex adds, "Cost per hire is now a calculable figure whereas before Broadcast it was simply an approximation. Additionally the ATS's reduce time spent on non essential business i.e. writing job board feeds, the client can calculate their cost per hire while reducing their online spend and Broadbean gain a great client base."
Already we have had many requests for new integrations from applicant tracking systems and we are thrilled with the client response to date. You can find out heaps more about Broadcast on our new look site!
As well as causing a stir on the ground, our own Dan, who opted for a more conservative look than the rest of the team, had a prime speaking slot at the recruitment showcase where he told the jam-packed room what they should be doing to attract talent globally.
You'll have to wait another year to find out what stunt we've got planned next but for now you can see pictures of the day here.
We profile a different individual every month that has been influential in recruitment, online or in business. We like the go-getters of this world and those that have similar values to our own. Jamie Murray Wells had a great story to tell when we met him earlier this month.
The Recruiters Network is holding its first event in Scotland on the 10th of July.
Broadbean Technology is pleased to announce that Eden Brown has renewed its annual contract for advert distribution and response tracking services.
Chicken, broad bean and chorizo rice makes a succulent Spanish dish.
Broadbeans are the oldest of all our beans, dating back to Stone Age times. Mystical beliefs were that broadbeans, when offered in marriage ensured the birth of a baby son. It was also believed that broadbeans, if eaten before a birth ensured the birth of a baby son.
