As a concept the Broadbean method definitely works and improves the recruitment process, speeding up the process and allowing agencies in this competitive industry to work smarter and not harder. When comparing the service on offer from Broadbean with another supplier, which I had recently trialled, I approached the service on offer from Broadbean with a sceptical mind, believing that they could not exceed my expectations. After a very informative and detailed walk through your website and learning how and what services you could offer I was clearly impressed. I would also like to point out that when speaking with the other supplier to discuss the options they could provide the service was dire and I was faced with someone at the end of the phone not really understanding my very simple and clear instructions! Spring spends several hundreds of thousands of pounds on online advertising every year. Until we implemented our workflow we had little idea what it cost to generate an application, interview or a placement from job boards. Prior to Broadbean with a previous provider we had been posting adverts per month with a return application response of 1:1.4. We weren't happy with the ROI and wanted to improve the volume of our responses without resorting to the same process as previous where our consultants were posting through the supplier application taking at least 5-10 minutes longer per advert that if we could integrate the process within our frontline system.
Broadbean worked with us to develop a feed between their application and ours which has enabled us to track our adverts posted and applications being received to a far greater degree than before. return has greatly improved to 1:6 It has also alleviated the additional double entry required and therefore has improved the speed of responding to applications received into the business. Even though there is now a higher volume of applications, we have not experienced an increase in administration costs. In addition to the integration and the information provided we have been able to target our postings more effectively and we continue to see cost benefits on an ongoing basis.

I have used Broadbean for the past three years, introducing it to a number of different recruitment companies, all of which have never looked back. From initial trials back in 2004 with Parkside Recruitment and The Buzz, it was clear this job posting tool and tracking software was different: it worked just as consultants needed it to; saving them time posting jobs and saving them time managing their candidates. We have had the extraordinary pleasure of experiencing all the benefits of Broadbean, both the products and the dedicated team. Up to now, we have thrown just about every query, question, request and expectation to them, and not only have they met them with a smile, but they have actioned all points in less than an hour of receiving them.
We have a very complicated user system which the support team set up and manage for us, with each user using different job boards, a separate reporting capability and logins. The system has worked so effectively that we have expanded it to the rest of the company.

We just love Broadbean! At SECRETARIES PLUS, we refuse to use a job board that isn't accessible through Broadbean as our very successful fabulous team just do not have the time to waste. Last week we lost ALL our communications, and it was so much easier to direct ad response to a different email address on the web than to redo every single ad on every single job board. A workman in the street outside Claridges cut through 1600 lines AND the water pipes. They have re-laid 300 metres of cable and expect everybody to be back to normal by Monday 25th February when they have reconnected 1600 wires at each end of the new cable. In addition, on Thursday afternoon, another workman cut through a power cable, darkened a large chunk of the West End but lit himself up like a Christmas tree ( he has survived). We are now on microwave beamed at the Hilton for our internet/email access. In this very stressful situation, Broadbean made it possible for us to continue operating without spending more than an hour at the local internet cafe.
