"I have always put happiness and wellbeing above anything else when it comes to my career. Joining Broadbean was a bit of a leap of faith for me as it required me to take a small step backwards into a more junior role, rather than some of the more senior positions I was considering at the time. There were so many reasons behind this decision, and so many factors that helped differentiate Broadbean from my other options. Firstly, our unusually young and charismatic Managing Director (Dan McGuire) is a hugely inspirational character and a bit of a motivational guru, with a relaxed organisational philosophy that I find hugely appealing. I hate being micro-managed, and at Broadbean you are given the freedom to do your job without having someone breathing over your shoulders at every turn. Of course you are expected to work your socks off, but you do it under your own steam. Broadbean is run as a meritocracy, regardless of how long you have worked here, if you have the talent and the work ethic, you will be rewarded, just as I have, justifying my decision to go with my heart in joining this fantastic company!
